Devudu Chesina Manushulu will be the fifth time Actor Ravi Teja and director Puri Jagannadh are see running for a film. They earlier work for Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi and Neninthe. This film will also see Puri Jagannadh functioning intended for the third time with Ileana D'Cruz after Pokiri and Nenu Naa Rakshasi. This will besides be the third time for Ravi Teja to work with Ileana after Khatarnak and Kick. The film was originally planned to be the development of 2002 hit film Idiot. The plan was last drop by Puri Jgannadh as he feel that the thoughts wasn't exciting. Filming begin March 2012 and the spurt will be done in a single schedule. The film was officially announce on January 27, 2012 and was launch on February 17, 2012. The first look of the film is released by Puri Jagannadh during twitter.
